Concert Band

The Concert Band is the nucleus of the band program and is devoted to performing various styles and genres of music.  These include Classical, Pop, Jazz/Swing, Rock, Latin, as well as the standard concert band repertoire.

The Concert Band performs two or three high school concerts per year, performances in the community, the Optimist Festival, and is evaluated each spring at the Florida Bandmasters Associations' District 19 Music Performance Assessment.

The school will provide maroon bow ties/cummerbunds, tux jacket, pants, and dresses for the concert band uniform for all performances. The men are responsible for a white tux shirt ($15) and black shoes/socks. (Black marching band shoes are fine). Ladies are responsible for their shoes/hose and jewelry.
