We are anticipating on your entrance to NMHS and have much to offer to enhance your high school experience.
The NMHS Performing Arts Department believes every student should have the privilege to participate in the music programs at NMHS. Music is at the core of education that encompasses art, foreign and universal languages, math, history, science, technology, life-skills, physical education, the military, entertainment, creativity, and various cultures. These musical experiences will enrich students' lives in preparing for their future and will culminate in a life-long appreciation for music and learning.
The Performing Arts staff work extremely hard year-round to make this program a success.
The Performing Arts Department encompasses the "Mighty Colt Marching Band", "Jazz Ensemble", "Concert Band", "Solo & Ensemble", "Phantasmagoria" & "Phantasy" our Indoor Percussion & Colorguard group & the "Colt Concert Choir" which is our vocal music program.
Join the 2010-2011 "Pride of the North Side" and bring along your positive attitude. We are dedicated to providing you with experiences that will guide you in your future musical endeavors, assist you with your academics, and enrich your life after high school.
